Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

1. Not a Law Firm

HOAOverreach is NOT a law firm. It does NOT provide legal advice. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using this service. The tools, templates, and generated documents on this site are provided for informational purposes only. You should consult a licensed attorney for legal guidance specific to your situation.

2. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Using HOAOverreach, creating an account, uploading CC&Rs, generating dispute letters, or purchasing any plan does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and HOAOverreach, PromptCritical LLC, or any of its affiliates. The information provided is general in nature and may not apply to your specific circumstances.

3. Generated Documents

Letters and documents generated by HOAOverreach are informational templates populated with your input and publicly available state statute data. They are not legal filings. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sending it to your HOA or any other party.

4. Purchases and Refunds

Paid plans (Dispute Letter and Full Shield) are one-time purchases per dispute. Payment is processed securely by Stripe.

Refunds are not available after a letter has been generated or downloaded. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from receiving your letter, contact support@hoaoverreach.com and we will resolve it.

5. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide (property address, HOA name, violation details, state).
  • You are responsible for reviewing all generated documents before use.
  • You agree not to use HOAOverreach to generate fraudulent, misleading, or harassing correspondence.
  • You agree not to abuse rate limits, attempt to access other users' data, or interfere with the service.

6. Limitation of Liability

HOAOverreach and PromptCritical LLC are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: the outcome of any HOA dispute, fines imposed by your HOA, legal fees, property damage, or consequential damages of any kind. The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

7. State Law Information

HOAOverreach references publicly available state statutes and regulations. While we make every effort to keep our database accurate and current, laws change. We do not guarantee that any statute citation is current or applicable to your specific situation. Always verify citations with official state sources.

8. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of HOAOverreach after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to conflict of law principles.
